Asset Overview
Corrib is Ireland’s largest producing gas field. We hold a 43.5% non-operating interest in the field, making us the largest stakeholder in the project.
Corrib was discovered in 1996 by Enterprise Oil and is located 83 kilometres off the northwest coast of Ireland. Gas is transported via a 90km pipeline to an onshore processing plant at Bellanaboy. From there, it is distributed across Ireland via the national grid.
On a daily basis Corrib supplies up to 30% of Ireland’s gas needs and remains Ireland’s only source of domestic gas production
